Deep-learning inspection built for implants
Our Retina A.I. vision software learns the difference between acceptable surface texture and genuine defects from real examples — so it handles the natural variation of polished titanium, coated and machined implant surfaces where rule-based vision struggles. Typical checks include:
- Surface defects — scratches, pitting, porosity, inclusions, discoloration and contamination
- Edge, thread and tip integrity on screws, plates, pins and orthopedic hardware
- Dimensional verification and presence/absence checks against specification
- Laser-mark and UDI code reading (OCR/OCV) for full traceability
